You can check this by clicking "Import Selection" then selecting all the clips you wanted to select. The only reason I found for this is there is not enough space on the disk where the files will be imported to import them. I cannot import new clips, the camera is connected and ON but the "Import New" button is grayed out and unclickable, what do I do? Additionally you may need G-metrix data imported to have stabilization available as u/curiosity_opfer points out below. Not all video modes may support video stabilization.

Or once you have the clip you can import it manually by finding the correct g-metrix file on your camera. For g-metrix you have to Import clips into Virb Edit.
